A HUGE Thank You to our customers! And a HUGE Sale!

To our customers, family and friends, it is official...Atlantic Press, Inc. has closed it's doors after nearly 70 years. Thank you for your business, whether you are a long time customer, or a rather recent customer, we appreciate every one of you! Many of you have become friends even though we rarely, or even never, met. Talking on the phone, and getting to know many of you was one of the highlights of my job.

I would like to encourage all of you to use Sir Speedy Minneapolis. Guy Andrews is the owner. We have sold our accounts to him and Sir Speedy and you can expect to receive the same service as you have always received from Pete and I, and our family at Atlantic Press. His phone number is 612-332-2679 and his email is guy@printcopymn.com. Guy and I became friends before we found out we both were in the printing business.

The Cottage House will be hosting a sale for us. If you would like a piece of history, please join us Friday, January 27 and Saturday, January 28!  Details can be found here.

Through the Camera's Eyes

Last week, as I was about to leave the shop for the evening, I heard our front doorbells ringing. Two visitors, whom I had never met before, came in. They introduced themselves, Guthrie and Laura, and they were a part of Powderhorn 365. I knew about the Powderhorn 365 project, and had enjoyed looking through the different images that represented the Powderhorn Park neighborhood where Atlantic Press is located.

They wondered if they could take a few pictures around the shop. I invited them in, and they snapped away.

The images were posted the following day, and it was fun to see our shop through the camera's eyes.  (Click on this link to view more of Guthrie's pictures from his visit to the shop.)

Thanks to the Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association for all of their hard work.
